Tattoo Aftercare
-
Now your tattoo is complete it
is your responsibility, you've gone through the pain and spent the money
its worth the time to look after it. The better a tattoo is kept during
the healing process the better the brighter the end result.
-
If your new tattoo has been
covered gently remove the dressing after a minimum of three hours
(preferably leave it on overnight) if the dressing feels like it is
sticking at all, wet with lukewarm water and carefully remove.
-
Always make sure your hands
are clean before touching a fresh tattoo, your tattoo should be cleaned 2
- 3 times daily, to do so gently wash with lukewarm water with your hand
and pat dry with a clean towel.
-
After tattoo has been washed
apply a small amount of after-care, gently rub into tattoo making sure
excess is wiped away with a clean cloth. We recommend using THC aftercare
balm although there are other alternatives, any which used are at
customers own responsibility.
-
It is usual for your tattoo to
form a mild scab, do not pick or scratch the scab, as this will impair the
finished result. Your tattoo should heal within 7-10 days please take the
up most care within this time to keep your tattoo clean, and away from any
dust or dirt, oils or grease.
-
If required, apply a
moisturizing lotion 2-3 times a day to your tattoo once all
the scabbing has naturally fallen off, repeat until skin is supple.
